Infinite Summer Reading
Posted by: Admin

51trum-gd2bl__sl160_If you’re a fan of the late David Foster Wallace check out InfiniteSummer, an online book club devoted to Infinite Jest.  The idea is for “endurance bibliophiles” ( I love this) to read 75 pages a week between June 21 to September 22. Four writers who haven’t read the novel before are posting weekly, and there are several discussion forums,  as well as a Facebook page, a Tumblr blog, Tweets, and a number of  side groups. There is also a reading schedule (with both page numbers and Kindle locations). You can read ahead, of course, but the discussion is supposed to follow the same schedule so there will be no spoilers.

I wonder what happens after September 22.  Is that the end of InfiniteSummer, or will there be other discussions of other books?
