Booklist Online: More than 130,000 book reviews for librarians, book groups, and book lovers - from the trusted experts at the American Library Association

As I mentioned in a previous post, October is National Reading Group Month, and for the second year in a row, Book Group Buzz has been chosen by the The Women’s National Book Association as the official National Reading Group Month partner blog.

Events are planned for the WNBA’s 10 chapter cities. The signature event, a breakfast and book-signing with several bestselling authors, will take place in Nashville on October 10.  

Another highlight of National Reading Group Month is the 2009 list of Great Group Reads.  Booklist is making its reviews of the Great Group Reads available for free to non-subscribers, and I’ll be posting links to reading guides and other information about each title. First up: Perfection by Julie Metz and The Secret Diaries of Charlotte Bronte by Syrie James.  More to come!
