Stieg Larsson Documentary Available for Libraries
Posted by: Rebecca Vnuk

If your book group has read any of the Millennium Trilogy (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo; The Girl Who Played with Fire; The Girl who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest) you might be interested to know that in conjunction with its release of the films based on the novels, Music Box Films has made available a 50 minute documentary on the life of Larsson and the fascinating popularity of the Millennium Trilogy novels.

The best part?  You can screen this documentary at your library.  This would really fit nicely with any group that has discussed the books, and would be a great draw for other readers as well.

More information can be found at http://dragontattoofilm.com/about-5/documentary-millennium-%E2%80%93-the-story.

From the release:  “The phenomenon of Stieg Larsson and his “Millennium” trilogy” is explored in depth in this compelling new documentary that has never been shown in the U.S. Screenings of the 50 min documentary can be held for promotional screening purposes only. Please contact Paige Blake pblake@musicboxfilms.com is you would like to show the film at your theater, library or bookstore.”

Hi – The link for more info isn’t working. Is the documentary in English or is it subtitled?

    Thanks.

  3. Rebecca Says:

The link works if you click it – not if you cut and paste, however. A weird glitch on their end. For more information, email the contact listed above and they should be able to assist you.
