2010′s Best Books of the Year in One Spreadsheet

You don’t have to consult more than one source to get the results of all of the best-books-of-the-year lists in one spreadsheet. For the third consecutive year, I’ve been compiling all of the results, counting up all the votes, from all of the major review sources into one “megalist.”
So far, I’ve compiled about 50 best-of-the-year lists and major awards, with at least that many more still to come. The first installment, however, is now available at my other blogging home, Blogging for a Good Book. There is also a much more detailed analysis on that site about my criteria for inclusion and how the list is organized. You are encouraged to download, share, re-sort, and re-purpose the megalist in print or online, as long as you provide a credit for Neil Hollands at Blogging for a Good Book, http://bfgb.wordpress.com.
Beginning next week, I’ll be analyzing the results here on Book Group Buzz and posting updates as additional sources are compiled into the list. If you can’t find a good book on this list, you just aren’t trying!

My husband has read all the William Kent Krueger mystery novels recently and enjoyed all including Vermillion Drift which you have on your mystery/thriller list. We read Mullah’s Storm by Thomas W. Young and thought it a current thriller worthy of your list and you may agree as you continue to analyze. Thank you for the list of rated mysteries that we will now begin to puruse.
