Treasures of the Library
Posted by: Misha Stone

Last week my colleague David Wright and I presented for our library’s Volunteer Appreciation event. We decided to frame our presentation around the “treasures” of the library–those books that librarians love to tell patrons about, the ones that they send to the volunteers to tape and glue and keep limping along year after year. David also read a story and I read a poem, for fun!

Here are our treasures. What are yours?

Some books we’ve really loved.

Cool post, Misha. A few of these works just moved a little further up my “to read” list. Wish I could have seen the program!

Thanks, Neil! I think there may be a podcast, and I will post that in that case!
