Great Choices for Book Groups, New in Paper
Posted by: Neil Hollands
Most book groups prefer to choose titles available in paperback in an effort to protect the budgets of their members. It’s a good policy, not only because it’s economical, but because sometimes brand new titles aren’t quite as good as the hype that surrounds them.
The IndieNext list of book group choices recently available in paper is now out for the summer. There’s an interesting mix of fiction and nonfiction, of titles that received extensive publicity on release and titles that are less well known. The annotations by independent booksellers, some of the most dedicated supporters of good reading, make these lists a must for bibliophiles.
