Posted by: Kaite Stover
Get ready for the Queen of the Book Club to retake her throne. Last week Oprah Winfrey announced the comeback of the world’s largest book club, dubbing it Oprah’s Book Club 2.0. Oprah calls it an “interactive online book club for our digital world.” Oprah recognizes all th
e many new ways readers are sharing and discussing their reading and is promoting reading in all formats, audio, electronic and print.
The first title up for discussion is a memoir, Wild by Cheryl Strayed. A reading guide is available on Oprah’s website and there’s an interview with Cheryl Strayed here. Readers can submit questions on Oprah’s website, via Twitter (@OprahsBookClub #oprahsbookclub) or Facebook and either Oprah or Cheryl Strayed will answer the questions.
